2024 marked a special year for the Texas A&M Association of Sport Clubs. It celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Sport Clubs program and the same anniversary for the first national title won by any club under the Sport Clubs moniker.
The club in question?  Men's Rugby.
I was invited to a meeting between the professional staff of Texas A&M Sport Clubs and select members of Old Maroon, the alumni organization surrounding the Texas A&M Rugby Club. In this meeting, we discussed this momentous anniversary and brainstormed ideas for an event celebrating the club's longevity over the last five decades.
After the meeting's conclusion, so began the process of refining discussed ideas into a feasible campaign and connecting with internal and external partners for project direction and collaboration. I therefore drafted the following creative brief, which became the central strategy document for my team.
CREATIVE BRIEF
With our campaign strategy well-documented and partner responsibilities understood, my team and I executed our tasks on day of the 50th anniversary, February 24, 2024, complete with photography, videography, social media, live broadcasting, and interviews.
